Re: Leprechaun - Design/Review
He's back!
Straight conversion it looks like. Here's what I'd do with the wording: Quote:

Re: Leprechaun - Design/Review
If we change to attack or defense dice, it would cut out other abilities that use combat dice, right? So like the Beam Struggle wouldn't trigger, right?

Re: Leprechaun - Design/Review
Maybe "rolls dice during combat" if limiting to combat is desired.

Re: Leprechaun - Design/Review
Oh actually I think we beam struggled the wound from Leprechaun, not Leprechauning the Beam struggle dice. Heh.

Re: Leprechaun - Design/Review
Yea
I stand by this, I don't think "for combat" is particularly clear. "2+ attack dice or defense dice" is barely any longer as well. |

Re: Leprechaun - Design/Review
Just a thought here, but would it be ok to lower the range of LotI to 4 spaces, and up the range of Terrorizing Tricks to 4 spaces. In the spirit of easier head space of having them both have the same range?

Re: Leprechaun - Design/Review
if it's worded so that it's for attack and defense combat dice (as it was in 1.0) I think it's fine. Right now it works for any power that uses a combat die.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: Leprechaun - Design/Review
Making the ranges match makes sense.

Re: Leprechaun - Design/Review
I'm always a fan of matching ranges where we can work it.
I think it's safe to cut the "immediately" from Terrorizing Tricks, as well as the first comma. I'd pobably do it like so just for clarity: TERRORIZING TRICKS After Leprechaun or a figure within 2 spaces of him rolls 2+ combat dice for an attack or defense, if all dice show the same symbol, inflict 1 wound on either the attacker or defender. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
