Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? YES
- What should be the unit's point value? 30 points
- Give a brief overview. Bad Cops proved to be a nice distraction unit and helps provide a different options than Street Thugs or Bodyguards. They removed 2 OMs (X's) in this game and it didn't mean much as Wolverine got taken out very early in the game. They also put a wound on Luke Cage from range. They have their place as a nice filler unit and do pretty well with clean up.

Spoiler Alert!

Dock Ock was the MVP this game and tore through squads like a hot knife through butter. Street Thugs took out Wolverine in R2 which devalued Luke Cage greatly. Luke did manage to give Black Mask a pounding though and one-shotted him. Flash took out Ventriloquist in R4 with Fist Fusilade and made OM placement much tougher for the Criminals. The boss man Kingpin put one wound on Doc Ock and 3 wounds on Flash, but couldn't seal the deal. Kroc put one wound on Doc Ock, but otherwise choked.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Army 2 wins ins R6 T2 with Luke Cage 4w, Doc Ock 2w, Flash 3w

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? YES
- What should be the unit's point value? 30 points
- Give a brief overview. Without a bonding figure (Kingpin) Order Marker management proved a lot tougher in this match. They still synergize nicely with Gordon though who used Call For Back Up to move all 4 of them up the board really quickly. They played nicely as filler in this game towards the end. One Bad Cop put 2w on Green Arrow and removed an OM. Another boldly triggered the Time Bomb glyph and got a roll of 3 putting 2 wounds on Hercules, Doc Ock and kills Green Arrow. Best of all the last remaining figure on Army 1 was a Bad Cop who after winning initiative took height and rolled 4 skulls from range taking out Hercules for the win!!!

Spoiler Alert!

R1 Gordon, Cops, Punisher and Robin all move up the map quickly. Echo copies Herc and moves towards the road. Cap and Doc Ock follow her.
R2 Echo engages Robin and gives him 2w. Dynamic Duo take out Echo.
R3 Green Arrow next to Cap gets a good roll on Trick Shot and finishes off Robin. Herc moves up and tosses a battlement at Bats for 1w.
R4 Bats dies from Green Arrows Trick Shot. OM1 lost
R5 Herc leaps over and pounds Gordon killing him in one hit. Punisher Assault Rifles Cap for 2w.
R6 Punisher kills Captain A, and puts 1 wound on Dr. Ock. Herc puts 2w on Punisher. Alfred pulls Punisher out of the battle and gives him some First Aid. Green Arrow fires an Exploding Arrow and kills 2 Beat Cops and Alfred
R7 Bad Cop puts 2w on Green Arrow from height, then removes the X OM. Punisher gives Green Arrow 1w. Ock kills 2 Cops.
R8 Herc kills Punisher. Bad Cop engages Herc, but fails to wound him. Herc kills Bad Cop. Another Bad Cop moves up and blows the Time Bomb glyph on first try - Green Arrow dies, Herc 2w, Doc Ock 2w.
R9 Venom kills Doc Ock. Herc kills Venom.
R10 Last remaining Bad Cop moves to height and kills Herc with a lucky 4 skull ranged attack FTW!

Yeah, it really makes more sense for this guy to be shaking down commons and not super heroes. I think you'll probably use only a few of these guys at a time because of the 4 space restrictions with On The Take, but that is part of the strategy.

If you draft more than one Bad Cop, you'd have to keep them apart if you want them to count as Criminals.

Shakedown
I love that you leave it to the opponent to decide whether to lose the figure or the order marker. If I don't have a figure that makes use of the X Order Marker, I'd opt to lose that first. Otherwise, I'd probably just sacrifice the unit.

Final Thoughts
Pretty direct design, so not a lot to say. I haven't seen Kingpin, so I'm not sure how he would work. I did check some other figures for both lawman and criminal synergy. Bad Cops could work well with Lex Luthor (business suit), as he requires only clear sight. So you could keep your Bad Cops spread out and still benefit Lex. Riddler could only benefit with one Bad Cop at a time. Bad Cops are too expensive to work with Madame HYDRA and Black Mask. As for the lawman synergy, only Commissioner Gordon would work with them.

Shakedown depends on playing against a side that includes common heroes or squads, otherwise you can't use it. I think it's ok to have niche abilities, otherwise you couldn't have snow/ice bonuses, etc.
