I think we all know how likely that is to last, so I'm not sure we really need to feed Marvel any more than we need to on the subject.

Psh, Reed SHOT The Thing to kill Dr. Doom in their 500th issue (Which I actually read, woohoo).

Then the group actually went to heaven to get Thing back. Yeah.

I don't remember how Doom came back. Maybe they got sidetracked and went to Hell by accident to bring him back. Wouldn't surprise me.
