I haven't really used Society Psychic either, but it's also not the type of power that's really appealing to use in solo testing, so I don't feel like I can judge that well. Not something I'd miss, however.

I would like to drop Society Psychic actually, it's just making the card more complex than it needs to be.

I'm cool with letting Events be part of the marker classes - they don't benefit from most of the marker burn powers, so it'd just be a theme thing really. If we make that update, I think it should be across the board for Injustice Marker figures though.

That's a fair point on solo testing.

In general I don't particularly find it to be an appealing option, which is why I almost just pretend it's not even there to begin with . Even with Joker, which of course is the best use of it, he's already able to move 2 out of the 4 OMs. So knowing which 2 can sure be beneficial, it isn't a super necessary use of a marker, IMO.

If he weren't already a go-to draft for the faction without it, or the overall text size was a lot bigger with minimal power text for the rest, I'd probably say it doesn't hurt anything, but I feel like the rest of his card is so solid that it feels more like unnecessary trinket text at that point making it a 4 power smaller font card.

There's certainly a couple of designs I've done where I wish I could cut something that ultimately didn't really add any value to the design and generally goes unused 95% of the time. Martian Manhunter II being a prime example, ironically enough given this card sort of mirrors it to a degree.

Yep, planning to update them all if we go that route.

With the dropping of Unique, we should probably check through all of the callout classes to be sure we're confident enough that there's not going to be any Common Heroes that could get roped in as well thus giving super cheap markers.

No Common Heroes on record. As long as Antagonist doesn't receive any, it should be fine.

That does seem like risky design space to close off. Common Hero Criminals or Mercenaries seem like they could be a thing. "Unique or Event" is more text, but it future proofs us more.

That works. Went ahead and updated their files on my end. Do we need to vote on something like this before making the changes?

I don't think any Event Heroes currently have a class that would be impacted with our cutting Protector (Phantom Stranger).

I’m okay with the IL working differently. Villains seem more likely to ally themselves with beings beyond the usual power level like Amazo, Brainiac, Darkseid. Heroic Event heroes in the JL would be limited to like, Spectre or limited time power ups for certain heroes.

I'd be against it if we don't also do it for the League designs. They're intended as mirroring each other, so seems weird to me, and we already rarely make Hero events, I would hate to see them discouraged even more.
