Fwiw, I'm also currently against directly embedding the power itself into the Event Hero rules, just for reasons of some wonky interactions dok mentioned in Puppet Master's thread today.

So is the reason Thanos isn't an Event Hero is so He can wield the Infinity Gauntlet? I ask this question because I don't know what goes into the process of picking who is and who isn't an event hero, only reason I bring this up is I wanted to use Ultron and Mephisto, not on the same team, at different times. I've read the even hero rules a few good times, and what I got out from it was the only difference between a Unique Hero and Event Hero is an Event Hero can't be destroyed from a special or terrain and you can't have the same Event Hero on the same team right? Or you are only aloud to have one event hero in your army?

There is no restriction to how many Event Heroes you have in your army (excepting point limits), only that you can't have two of the same.

Seeing as how difficult some of them are to destroy however--many have high life, high defense, additional defensive powers, etc.--I'm not sure who you would get to play against you a second time if you had many of them in your army.

Is there any rule that prevents moving of Event Heroes? Or are they able to be Knocked back, pushed, etc. just like everyone else?

Also, an opponent may never take temporary or permanent control of an Event Hero.

That's what I thought, but for some reason I thought I remembered a rule like that. Maybe it was being discussed at some point, or maybe I'm just making things up.
