Which Artemis?

Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

Instead of moving or instead of attacking with Super-Man, you may place a Trigram Marker on this card, to a maximum of 8.

TAO TE
If Super-Man has at least:
- 2 Trigram Markers on his card, add 3 to his Attack number and he has the Super Strength special power.
- 4 Trigram Markers on his card, add 3 to his Defense number.
- 6 Trigram Markers on his card, add 3 to his Move number.
- 8 Trigram Markers on his card, add 3 to his Range number and he has the Flying special power.

MAGICAL PROTECTION

Kenan has a weird power set. He has all the powers of Superman, but they're filtered through the lens of Taoism - he's a human manifestation of the balance between yin and yang. As such, all of Super-Man's powers are filtered through the eight trigrams. Confusingly, these trigrams are ordered 0-7, not 1-8. In his series, he learns to master them pretty much one by one, and when he's thrown off focus, he has to meditate a bit to recenter himself.

Trigram 0 = Stomach = Invulnerability
Trigram 1 = Hands = Super Strength
Trigram 2 = Ears = Super Hearing
Trigram 3 = Thighs = X-Ray Vision
Trigram 4 = Feet = Super Speed
Trigram 5 = Eyes = Heat Vision
Trigram 6 = Mouth = Super Breath
Trigram 7 = Head = Flight

So, the markers on the card are my best approximation of those powers. I went two-by-two and kept them to almost purely stats, but if we wanted to play around, we could drop Magical Protection (which is something he has, but doesn't always come into play) and give all eight a unique boost.

I have a few write-ups. Ronin and I have discussed Jericho a bit. He's probably the only one that really has a big difference from the previous version. Terra isn't much different, Rose same power set, Power Girl, Kid Flash about the same. I think Jericho is my main focus but it's probable that I'll use these mini's as my proxy for the regular ones when I play them with a Theoretical and Mythical Deathstroke II that I may or may not be working on currently. But none of this can be confirmed or denied.

Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

That looks really cool. The idea of a superhero who gains his powers from Taoist principles is oddly unique and interesting.

The only thing I'm wondering is if there should be something to represent him achieving the perfect balance that leads to that ying/yang symbol he wears (unless that pretty much was just what happens he he unlocks the eight thing, it's been a while since I read)
Otherwise this looks like a great New Super-Man design

I like that take on Kenan.

Magical Protection is something I figured he would for sure have on him. Or some kind of riff combining elements of Magical Protection and Kryptonian Defense - I had 'Kryptonian Qi' down as a power name.

EDIT: Also, speaking for coders everywhere, starting the Trigram count at 0 is definitely a good thing!

Really psyched to hear more of these figures are getting minis!
