just a thread for ideas on the third halo, i think it will be AWESOME!!!
i dont know if anyone heard this but i read that there will be online co-op
where player 1 is master cheif, player 2 is arbiter, and player 3 and 4 play as 2 really cool elites...any thoughts?

I had read that the full co-op may have been dropped due to some time issues. You should still have system-link abilities, but rest assured that if it isn't on your game disc it should be in an update within a month or so.

There's confirmed four-player co-op, as the first poster said. One player is Master Chief, the second is Arbiter, and the third and fourth are other Elites with crazy near-unpronouncable names that I can't recall.

You can play co-op by split screen (I think that's limited to two players but it might go up to four), system link (up to four players) or over LIVE (up to four players). There is a meta-game where all the players in the co-op can compete for points based on activating objectives, killing enemies, style, etc. That way you can see who is pulling their weight and who's the weak player.

I haven't seen info on the following items...does anyone know if they are returning in Halo 3?
