Character Bio - A wall street wizard, Leland was nicknamed the Owl by his peers. An investigation by the IRS revealed his ties to the criminal underworld. This revelation caused him to spiral into depression leading to his taking a serum that allowed him to fly short distances. The serum continued to mutate Leland making him more and more avian. Soon he was able to turn his head 180° and gained retractable talons. He has gone head to head with the likes of Daredevil, Electro, Spider-Man, Black Widow, and Doctor Octopus. Watch the skies for this money laundering villain, he may just swoop in for the kill.

After moving normally with Owl and before attacking, you may place him on any empty space within 3 spaces of and lower than his current location. When Owl uses Glide Strike 3, he will not take any leaving engagement attacks and adds 1 to his Attack number for the remainder of his turn.

Not a ton of good Comic options, but I definitely prefer the first one. As for the mini background, I couldn't find what I was really looking for, which was an Owl infested attic or house, but something with an Owl would be pretty fitting, especially if it is swooping.
