Why not make the selection between all the map we had this season?

I'm not really happy with the map pool as there is only 2 maps I really like to play on (Flash Fire and Invasion).

The map pool is made up of maps that have been used in the finals of our events.

Question about the bracket: if the winner of the loser's bracket wins the championship game, is there a rematch, since the player from the winner's bracket wouldn't have lost a game yet, or is it over, since it's lame to have two championship matches?

Once we get to a final 4(2 from the winners bracket, two from the losers bracket) it is single elimination. Thus the finals could see a 5-1 player facing a 4-0 player. The 5-1 player wins and is crowned champ.

The way to think about the bracket is that it's double elimination to make the semifinals. Two semifinalists will be 3-0 while the other semifinalists will be 3-1 or 4-1. Once you reach the semifinals, though, records are wiped out and it's straight single elimination for the final four.

This is really not that different than the rest of our tournaments, where some people make the playoffs undefeated, while others make it with 1 loss, but the records are wiped clean at that point. We're just using brackets instead of a scramble format for those early rounds.
