I like the judging idea.

We've already discussed why RotV shouldn't be allowed.

As for swarm of the marro, I think that if we don't allow at least 1 more expansion there won't be enough line of sight blockers. I don't think we should use the Hive as a part of a Marvel map. With this much terrain available to a mapmaker, they will still need to keep their footprint small because if it does become too big it will hinder gameplay and receive lower scores.

I was just dropping in for a quick visit back to the site, and I was very excited to see this flourishing as much as it is. But I do have one suggestion about SotM + expansions. I think you shouldn't allow any expansions unless it's the jungle set. I mean, come on, who doesn't want a ruined city overgrown with jungle trees? Just another

I Honestly think It should Be

1 Marvel

2 or 3 Expansions
and with say An extra Marvel worth 1 or 2 expansions.

I would now say that their shouldn't be SotM, but you could allow 3 expansions.

That way we get plenty of LoS blockers, and a good smallish size map.I'll know what will be my first thoughts of maps that should be in the MBoV!

No other Master set should be used.

We're currently trying to get some judges around. I pmed truth to see if he could advertise for it a while ago but he hasn't said anything.

Please PM if you are interested in judging. I only have a total of 2 judges right now. Once we get around 6 the judges will discuss the finer points of how we want the process to go and start judging maps.

I'd love to help, but don't have nearly enough experience with the finer points of map making. If there's anything else you need help with let me know! Or, if you feel you have decent judging criteria, I'm sure I could be judgeworthy in a reasonable capacity.
