With the Pod Draft armies, is it a strict 12 figures per pod, or can I have 13 figures and 1 of those figures has to sit each game? (Assuming the later, but gotta be 100% sure)

It's 12 hexes for Pod Draft, but yes you can go over and sit figures.

Pod Draft kicks off tomorrow so get your armies in tonight. Right now we have 9 people signed up, expecting at least a couple more to come in. We'll be releasing the first matchups tomorrow morning, with the games at 9pm Eastern, or another time if you and your opponent agree to it. Tuesday's matchups will drop Tuesday morning.

Just a quick update that we had one invalid pod submission so we're waiting on a slight update from that person before we roll out matchups. We do have odd numbers right now (11) so if anyone else would like to sign up in the meantime to make it even that would be awesome.

It seems like there was some confusion about signup close date for Pod Draft, so we are going to hold signups open until 2pm Eastern and post shortly after that. Currently at 12 and expecting a few more.

Matchups are posted. Links to the rooms are available in the DISCORD. The set time for the games is 9pm Eastern tonight, but as mentioned, you can reschedule to earlier/later if your opponent agrees. The deadline for games is 12pm Eastern the following day, so we can roll out matchups for the next round. If you cannot agree on a time, forfeit win will be awarded to player available at the 9pm Eastern time. Before jumping to that step please reach out to an organizer of this event (vegietarian18, Dysole, kevindola, dok).

Because there isn't another game immediately afterwards, we won't have as strict of time rules for this event only. Games have an hour and a half time limit, but you and your opponent can agree to play out the full game or to any other time limit longer than an hour and a half.
