Re: Public Design Workshop
Brief shot at some power translation (last one was a toughie!):

Re: Public Design Workshop
Quote:
Victor Octavius was an Italian baron who was found ill with the plague. He was set to find a cure, so he held Henri Pym's wife captive for him to make a cure. Pym needed the blood of a "witchbreed" in order to make this cure. Norman Osborne told Pym about Peter Parker, also known as the spider. Previous attempts to cure Victor led to a mutation from an octopus. Victor grows tentacles and becomes more agressive in his needs. Pym draws blood from Peter to make this cure. When Pym finishes the serum, Victor believes that he is meant to be in this form and smashes the beaker against the ground. Victor is pent up fighting the Spider and does not notice the giant Henri Pym appearing from the sea. Pym tried to lick up the serum, not wanting it to go to waste, in doing that he made himself giant. Pym got his revenge and crushed Victor under his foot. |

Re: Public Design Workshop
Figure movement is really powerful in Heroscape! Typically it's tied to a D20 roll as a result. If you stick with this much auto figure placement, it's likely going to come at a high price tag.
Oil Spew, meanwhile, gives you a 50/50 chance to absolutely knee-cap mid-level Heroes (Flash and Robin come to mind directly). What point level would be thematic for this guy? He's feeling 400+ for me right now. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Public Design Workshop
Extensive Reach and Grip of the Octopus both probably need a line about whether or not figures receive engagement swipes.
As for the oil squirt, remembering if it’s the next time and only the next time I rolled combat dice could get tough for us old folks. Since it’s temporary, good move without a marker but have you considered leaving it in effect for the entire round? Of course the success roll can be higher at like 16. Most likely, the targeted figure may only roll combat dice once more in the round anyway, and may not roll at all of this happens on OM 3 or maybe even on OM 2. |

Re: Public Design Workshop
Often called a "leaving engagement attack" in special powers.
