I haven't been following the prep thread, and have limited Who experience. I apologize in advance.

- Exterminate doesn't quite tell me what's going on, but it's fairly iconic, even to me, so I'm fine with it. I assume it's death ray type stuff?
- Dalekanium Armor is a great mechanic, makes for interesting gameplay, while still being simple and feeling "iconic." I dig it a lot.
- Should they fly? I thought they just scooted around all slow-like. Doesn't feel right if they're not scooting around.

Yeah pretty much. They usually yell the catchphrase before doing it, because Daleks are all about staying true to the brand.

Back in the old days, it was a bit of a meme that you could beat them just by going up stairs, so they gave them the ability to fly. If we ever do “classic” Daleks they would have to roll around on the ground.

They definitely just blast things with unnamed death ray things while shouting "exterminate."

They definitely fly.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

They first flew in 1988 so the internet wasn’t saying much

From what I’ve seen, most Doctor Who fans are into almost any change that make the Daleks seem scarier. It’s hard to believe they’re one of the most dangerous forces in the universe when they have the same weakness against stairs that grandma does.

Yeah, they mastered time and space travel early on. Figuring out the stairs seemed inevitable, I'm sure.

EDIT: Heh, great point Bats.

1988? That is news to me. What Doctor was that?
I thought that was part of the new Who.

Looking good so far. Do some pre-tests for sure! I must have done a dozen or more for Judge Death before he went to Initial. That info is invaluable and good practice for a new LD. As you gain experience it will become less necessary, depending on the design.
