Ah, I just played the outlier card last time. Going with Orcs 'n' Borgs on this one--Gruts and Sacred Band should balance out, but the Vulcanmechs'll probably be too much for the EI to handle.

My vote's on Mike, as much as I love the sacred bands and the EI, I cant see them doing too well together against cheap blade gruts, Q10, and the incendiborgs

I'm a huge fan of Q10. I think Mike has the better army. Mike for this one.

Sacred Band x2, Einer Imperium x2(A single Minion as a proxy), Parmenio, Marcus Decimus Gallus, and Guilty McCreech.


Mike's Army:
Blade Gruts x3, Vulcanmech Incendiborgs, Tornak, Nerak, and Major Q10.


We played on a custom map with two unknown glyphs.(Just now noticing the map is slightly asymmetrical.)


The Borgs and the Kyrie move out of their start zones.




One of Einar's Imperium claims the Glyph of Wannok while two more move up.




The Borgs and orcs also advance.


The Greeks move to support.


Q10 takes a wound from the glyph.


A Borg claims the Defensive glyph.


The other two move forward firing on the Imperium.


The Kyrie engage removing a Redundant Systems marker.


An Imperium is torched.


Another Kyrie takes it's place, however, removing another.


The orcs attempt to engage but are body blocked by their own Soulborgs.


The Greeks swing around, planning to flank the lone Vulcanmech.


Q10 takes another wound from the Glyph of Wannok.


The Kyrie remove the last of the Vulanmech's markers and one succumbs to their swords.


The second Borg is struck attempting to move behind the orcs.


The Kyrie kill two orcs and wound Tornak.


Nerak claims his first kill.


The gruts engage the Kyrie.


Two more Kyrie are killed.




Q10 is brought up to three wounds.


Tornak and the gruts move forward, attempting to remove the kyrie from teh wound glyph.


Guilty advances taking pot shots at the nearest orcs.


Tornak supports the grut who wounds the cowboy while another grut kills the Kyrie on the wound glyph.




More Greeks, lead by Marcus, move forward.


The Orc claims the Glyph of Wannok.


Guilty is struck down.


The Greeks kill the last of the Vulcanmech Incendiborgs and bring Tornak to two wounds.




An unlucky d20 roll results in a dead grut.


Parmenio cuts down an orc.


The Sacred Band kill another grut and Tornak.




Nerak takes Tornaks place while more gruts advance.


Nerak takes a wound.


Nerak disengages to kill a lone Greek trying to sneak to the wound glyph.


Parmenio scores another grut kill.


The Sacred Band kill two more orcs.




Nerak moves onto the Glyph of Wannok at the end of the round killing the last of Einar's Imperium.




Nerak kills another of the Sacred Band.


The last of the gruts engage the Greeks.


Parmenio makes a third kill.


The last of the gruts are finished off by the Sacred Band.


Nerak is slayed.


Q10 deals three damage to an advancing Parmenio.


The death of Q10 marks The Greek Warlord's 4th kill.

Oh wow--I shoulda taken the stage more into consideration when favoring the Borgs!

Really hard to tell between these next two since Braxas can be swingy, but I'll go with the Samurai!

i'm gonna go with greenscales and braxas on this next one.

Incendiborgs were poorly played in this one in my opinion. Also, Wannok on Q10? Argh!
Though I suppose the map did favor TT's army, should have considered that one. It looked like chokepoints were and important factor here.

This next one is super tricky. If Braxas or Tomoe Gozen die early those could be game deciders really early. I'm going to risk my bet on the Samurai, though.

Yeah I think he realized his mistake a few turns too late.

Braxas rushes forward spraying her acid immediately killing all of the Tagawa...


A Kazuke engages dealing 3 wounds to the black dragon.


Braxas disengages, taking another wound, and kills another Samuri with her acid breath.



A greenscale falls to counterstrike.


Kaemon Awa moves to attack the dragon queen bringing her up to five wounds.


Braxas kills two Izumi Samuri.


A greenscale kills a samuri.


The last Kozuke takes revenge on a different greenscale.


Braxas continues spewing acid on the samurai killing the last Izumi and Tomoe Gozen.


Kaemon Awa takes a wound.


Braxas is brought up to six wounds.


The last of the samuri squads is killed.


Braxas falls to the last samuri.


Two greenscales fall to counterstrike.


The samuri kills four more greenscales on his way to the enemy startzone.






Kaemon Awa peeks around the ruin to attack the hydra but fails to do any damage.


The samurai takes two wounds from the reaching hydra.


The last Samurai falls.
