Not a big fan of the colors here. I see where they're coming from, but it feels like the blue matches the comic and not the mini, while the purple matches the mini but not the comic. Feels to me like blue and black or black and white would be better. I can deal if I'm the only one who feels that way though.

I can assure you I took both colors from the mini. I used the eye dropper to find a purple and a blue that worked well together, IMO. Of course, one's color preferences and what they find to look good is completely subjective to the person looking at it. With the colors I choose when creating the cards, I aim for ones that look good with both the comic version and the mini version, since both are options.

I also generally strive for a color scheme that isn't used commonly on other cards.

FWIW, I've spent over an hour trying several color schemes over the past couple of months, and about 6-7 different comic images(most of them aren't that great of quality), so it's not a case where I just threw it together without attempting to come to the best aesthetic for the design. However, that's not a factual thing, that's an opinion thing.

If you'd like, I can throw together a white/black version later. I happen to prefer the purple and the blue as that's what you see when Nightcrawler is Bamfing around, and I feel it better represents the character over the white/black combo. The blue accent with the red Marvel logo also has a fun look to it, much like the red marking on his face.

Oh, I'm sure you put a ton of work into. You guys in art get one of the more underappreciated jobs in the project. I'm just saying that something about the colors sits oddly with me. As I said though, if I'm the only one who feels that way, it's no big deal.

I'm fine with the colors. But I've never been very strict with them, personally.

The hitzone looks funky to me though... are we sure we don't want to just edit out the BAMF cloud? Is there a mechanical reason we don't?

Yeah the cloud should be deleted from the hitzone. You can't grey it in this case because the cheesers will claim he can't be hit from behind so our standard here would be to crop out the cloud.

For the colors I wouldn't do Black/White. Black with the Blue or Black with the purple maybe.

For the record I don't dislike the current color scheme.

It would be cool to edit out the 'cloud'. I knew it could not be 'grayed' for the reasons japes stated but eliminated would be great.
