I just posted in the Unreleased figures thread. I posted the list minus the newest release. Its getting pretty short. I think I see enough units for a Hulk themed release and a bunch of monsters that would be good for Halloween.

@japes told me this is the place to put this. Are there two groups of defenders? I'm sure Japes could explain it better, but with the new Netflix series comming out with Luke Cage, Dare Devil, etc. The people who are making it call them defenders, but there is already a group called that. So what I'm asking is, is it possible for marvel to have two teams with the same name? If not what were Dare Devil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones group called?

My understanding is that they lifted the name of a different group from the comics (The Defenders) and decided to apply it to that group from the Hell's Kitchen area.

Both Marvel and DC reuse team names all the time, and with a lot of teams the members change frequently. Most of those characters you list have been on versions of the Defenders and the Avengers, but are most commonly known as the Heroes for Hire.

Yeah, just like Avengers there have been a lot of people that come and go. Defenders is a MUCH more loose affiliation. Primarily it was Dr.Strange, Namor, Silver Surfer, and Hulk, with long time members Nighthawk and Valkyrie often featured too. Those guys you named have been in various teams together, most notably Heroes for Hire (which doesn't sound as good on a list of things on Netflix) and New Avengers (post-Civil War to keep alive the ideals Cap used to bring them together.) BTW, Luke Cage's wife is Jessica Jones. You can find her under Jewel in the Books of thread.
