2 very close games for 1200 points, so that’s good at least.

One thing you can do to counter his offensive threat and staying power is just disengage him, then hit him non-adjacent, or just use specials in general. He’s also very weak to multi attackers and turn bonding given his lowered defense when engaged as well.

With him losing all of my games, one more set from an experienced tester should be good.

Spoiler Alert!

The Injustice League starts things off by taking out Black Canary pretty quickly. Guy uses his Power Play, but the JL rolls poorly and only Green Arrow does anything notable by putting 3 wounds on Grodd. The IJL take out John next. Guy finally takes out Reverse-Flash. Giganta wails on Guy, but with him only able to take 1 wound per attack, he ends up tanking a few attacks.

Giganta kills Guy. Green Arrow takes out Giganta. Green Arrow is an endgame champion, taking out Grodd and nearly killing Lex before he falls.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Lex Luthor (2 wounds) wins.

Guy did not have much impact this game. But he kept the enemy’s focus on him which let Green Arrow excel in the endgame. Close match overall.

Goku starts off by dealing a few wounds to Hal. Guy comes out with a Power Play, taking out base Goku. Hal uses his special attack to deal 4 wounds to super saiyan Goku, and Goku unleashes a mighty Kamehameha against all three GLs, but all three block it. A second Kamehameha deals them some damage, though. Guy swings for the fences and kills Goku, healing while doing so.

The GLs take out Vegeta from range while Bulma resurrects Goku. Goku brings all the GLs to 3 wounds. Guy takes out Goku by swinging for the fences, heals, then the GLs take out Bulma.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Guy (1 wound), John (3 wounds), Hal (3 wounds), WW (0 wounds) win.

Lots of things fell into place just right for the GLs here. Had Goku rolled better on his last attack and got the kill on Guy, this game could have gone the other way.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Felt good at 290. Guy initially didn’t feel that impactful, but Swinging For The Fences can really swing games if Guy gets a big attack in. Will Not Back Down gives him some decent staying power, but all the GLs are definitely fragile still. I think he’s good to go, personally.
