So I stumbled across this blurb and it raised my eyebrow.

Shang-Chi will mark Marvel’s first superhero movie with an Asian lead and director Destin Daniel Cretton has been hired to helm the project.
The hero is an expert martial artist who after joining the Avengers becomes able to duplicate himself countlessly. Marvel Studios hired David Callaham to write the screenplay and the film is expected to be made up of mostly Asian and Asian-American actors.

Is that accurate? Creating copies of himself would be significant. Say being able to draft 1-life copies of this card into your army with a way to place them on the board mid-game.

I had never heard of it, but it looks like it is a thing that happened. I think that could make for a cool add-on card. A common Shang-Chi that can spawn out of this one.

Yeah, that's a pretty recent change (from Hickman's Avengers). Some interesting potential there, though I'd personally try to adapt the Great Ten's Seven Deadly Brothers first - similar gimmick.

Definitely not something he was able to do when I designed him. Never thought I'd see the day of a Shang-Chi II but that might happen after the movie.
