Re: Custom Hero playtesting

Well done UPC that is an awesome Blog.

Actually you have given me a starting point with your pics.
I sometimes had difficulty choosing which version to use with the figures I own...but since I recognize many you have shown, it helps me make up my mind.

Thanks to all those hard working individuals that make the supers a great set of customs.

I liked it so much that I subscribed

Seeing all of those cards displayed like that is quite something. It is cool to think that I'm a small part of that.

Thank you, guys, for the support. I wish I could see how many readers the blog had. I was hoping we would get a little more traffic as a result, but with just 2 comments on the blog itself and your kind words, I think the viewership was a little less than I had hoped... Oh well.

I do have plans for another Super Hero blog. As teams are completed (say West Coast Avengers for example ) I plan on posting the teams (Heroclix figures on the cards) and going along that theme. There will certainly be room for single heroes and their villians, but I think you get where I am going with this.

On to other matters...
I did make another small purchase (updated the first post) that included Mad Thinker, so now he and Awesome Android are on my short list.

Re: Custom Hero playtesting

Um does anyone else love the figures in the new Secret Invasion. There are a pretty good number of figures that I had wanted to do, but previously didn't have figures.

I haven't had a chance to pick any up, but I'm really excited about most of the figures in the set. Inclusions like Immortus, She-Thing, and Speedball are just too cool to pass up. Can't forget Impy, either - wish he was a little more common, though.

Currently, I store them in 4 different sandwich bags...
Marvel
DC
Indy
Squads

I do that because if you leave the printed copies out for any long duration, the ink on the paper causes it to curl up on the edges.

Plus, I updated the first post with cards that have been made in the past few weeks.

Re: Custom Hero playtesting

I have been storing them in CD wallets - I had a couple of extra ones, the canvas-covered book-type with a zipper. 48 clear two-sided pockets, one for heroes and one for villains. I am happy with it, I just wondered if anyone had found a better option.
