Spectacular was developed by Sony, and unfortunately had to be canned when the Spidey animation rights got dealt back to Marvel a few years ago. It only ran two seasons, so you can check it out at not too great an expense. The Blu-Ray of both seasons will run you a little over $20 on Amazon.

Gotta agree with Tornado here, Spider-man and his Amazing Friends is my fave Spidey cartoon. Also, Batman: TAS, The Adventures of Superman, Batman Beyond, and Justice League is one giant story. Plots from each of the first three are tied up in Justice League. I'm not sure how anything could be more well planned out than that.

I loved Young Justice because it picked up later in the JL mythos, I also loved that Season 2 skipped ahead and we had to figure out how the status quo had changed.

Spider-Man: TAS, X-Men: TAS (though in the later series that one was hit and miss and series five was poor), 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Justice League/Justice League Unlimited were all great. Silver Surfer was brilliant as well (has anyone else seen this one?), but only lasted 13 episodes and ended on a cliffhanger, which is unfortunate. It was the first one I watched when C3G got me back into superheroes, though.

Green Lantern: The Animated Series was a fantastic show cancelled too soon. The first season was exactly what you'd expect, but in season 2 they went deep into the cosmic mythos and were setting up some epic showdowns. I never thought a Green Lantern series could be done so well.

LOVED Green Lantern. It aired next to Young Justice but, honestly, I think it was the better show. Way more consistent even if it wasn't quite so.ambitious.

Haven't seen that one yet. We've just watched the first episode of JL Unlimited last week. The one with Green Arrow, Super Girl, and Captain Atom's intro.

I do like the Batman/Superman TAS leading up to JL though. Young Justice Season 1 vs Season 2 are like two separate shows in this same Animated universe. Much like Justice League and Unlimited are billed as the same show but really not. I'd like to see more from the 5 years between Season 1 and 2.

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is well! It's been a stupidly long time since I've been on here, and I deeply apologise for it. A mixture of illnesses, job, education and moving away for university, as well as university itself now have taken up virtually all of my time for goodness knows how long now, but I really want to get back into both Heroscape and this community, as I have greatly loved them both and have deeply missed them. At the moment I honestly can't do a lot to help out in terms of playtesting etc (all the Heroscape is back at my home town, and I have lost the swing of things from having not played Heroscape in so long), but come the summer that should change as I can hopefully retrieve it all and bring it down to where I am now (should not be too long though as I supposedly finish this year in May and start again in September).

Regardless though, I apologise for my complete absence and hope that you can all forgive me. From here on I am going to desperately try to come on here and help out whenever I can.

No worries! Always nice to see another face around, but I wouldn't ask you to prioritize C3G over real-life concerns, and I don't think anyone else would, either.
