Maximum7 Woo who?
What are some good examples of "mid" future technology?

What inventions are not so doable like a jetpack or bionic contact lense which are right around the corner but aren't completely super-advanced and beyond the human ability like FTL travel or a Dyson sphere. Basically what are some middle-future inventions as opposed to near-future and far-future. 10 would be great

Read this. It is kind of crazy how much technology could realistically advance in the next 100 years.

Interesting first post.

Welcome.

May I inquire as to how you will use the info?

We should have the ability to transfer electricity wirelessly in the mid-future. Actually we already have the ability, but it should become more widely used. I think it will be similar to WiFi.

It is crazy but thinking about my nearly 100 year old grandmother and seeing the things that didn't exist when she was young, it's not hard to believe.

Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

Re: What are some good examples of "mid" future technology?

When you consider that there are less than 70 years between the Wright brothers' first powered flight and Apollo 11, a whole lot can change technologically in 100 years. We are only about 40 years removed from the first home computer, and look at what we do with computers now. A bottom of the line smart phone probably has more computing power than what sent man to the moon.
