Might just be me - but I'm not loving the starfield background. It looks odd for a guy whose figure is just straight up standing, and sort of clashes with the "Grounded" personality. Maybe the irony was intentional there, though.

I mean, yeah, "Grounded" is sort of an ironic thing for his time in space.

I mainly suggested a space background just to more closely mirror the comic art. The thematic alternative for him is like, hanging out on a city street or something? I prefer this.

I wouldn't mind, like, "surface of an alien planet" or something. I've just never liked "figures that are obviously standing but are pictured in flight/in space" - like on our Ms. Marvel card.

I'll Yea either way - it's a personal preference, so I'll leave it to the LD and art team.

I see your point, and don't disagree. However, it really just depends how you look at the art. I was going for something ambiguous that you can't really tell what's going on. Could he be floating in space? Sure. However, when I look at it, I see him standing on ground that you can't see(which was intentional that you can't see his feet or what's surrounding them), surrounded by a cosmic swirl and dust etc. Definitely don't perceive it as him standing in space, as I agree, that would be silly. The comic art is ambiguous, so I was trying to go for something like that to match the mini art.

I thought he was just surrounded by some fog or something that he'd laid out to distract enemies/remind him of good old London.

One of the running gag's from his GotG run was that he hates all the 'cosmic stuff', so I thought putting him on a 'cosmic' background was a bit of a gag.
