We've got at least 4 current Heroes and 2 former Heroes in agreement with this change, including the LD. All we need is an update to the SP and cards.

You can still do some odd things leading into Red Skull's turn (using him, Ms. Marvel can essentially take a double-turn), but otherwise it definitely keeps it more contained.

It seems this part could create some weird turn interruption of sort. If Red Skull had a white Avenger Marker on his card and within 5 CSS of Ms. Marvel, she could:

  • Reveal OM and not move
  • Red Skull could inflict a wound on enemy or friendly figure, thus allowing Ms. Marvel to take an immediate turn or another figure within clear sight to take an immediate turn. But either way, that other turn would occur before Ms. Marvel attacked.
It's a weird combo because of the wording for Ms. Marvel "instead of moving Ms. Marvel" is a timing thing, since moving comes before attacking. Thus the figure with the Avenger Marker on its card would be able to take a turn in place of her movement, and then after that figure's turn, she'd get to attack. Right?

So if Red Skull inflicted a wound to give another figure a turn, that other figure's turn (including Ms. Marvel) would come before Ms. Marvel even got to attack from her original turn because Master Motivator says they get to take an immediate turn.

Would that change help eliminate some wonkiness with her?

I realize this is Red Skull's thread, but since Ms. Marvel was brought up, I figured I'd look into what V was saying and then it struck me that there could be some weird timing issues with RS and MM. And perhaps some other timing issues with MM and other figures.

Yeah, Avengers Attack Command has a lot of weirdness due to it being in the middle of her turn. That change would certainly clean it up, but it does make a mechanical change.

EDIT: I was responding to Hahma's suggestion here. I like Caps's suggestion, though.

It doesn't look like this was updated.

Also PDF and JPG are not showing up.

Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.
