I'm definitely fine with breaking precedent here. He-Man is as much, if not more, iconic as an action figure and it feels appropriate to nod to that here.

But I'll defer to the art department, definitely. I know A3n originally set the "organic lighting, photo-realistic background" rule.

That could work.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

Scapey, I'm not sure exactly the positioning, etc. you'd need for a Castle Grayskull photo for the background, but if you Google "Castle Grayskull 1982" that'd be the one I'd recommend pulling from.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Someone on here did a full custom project where they added hexes to the Castle Greyskull set and used it as the map.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

Depending on how available a Castle Grayskull is, could make a fun terrain release to go alongside some MotU figures.

I'd just blur the art a bit to make it not read as art. Usually you can't tell the difference between the 2 if the blur is right.

I don't have the process for you, but I can get you started.
Ingredients: Heroclix: Fear Itself Valkyrie (specifically the sword hand, maybe both), Secret Invasion Grey Gargoyle (specifically the legs, feet and lower torso), Mutant Mayhem Harpoon (specifically the head), Hypertime Hawkman (specifically the arms and upper torso).
Semi-Retired C3G Hero

I've reverted back to the Greyskull art and given it a blur as per Arkham's perspective. Cards updated.
