Gears of War 2
I was obsessed with the original (about 25,000 matches before quitting for my health). I skipped work. I lost friends. And sadly, another is on the way - looking better and cooler than ever. Gobs of new features include a chainsaw mini-games, flamethrowers, multiple finishers, and, perhaps best of all, a multiplayer party system a la Halo 3 / CoD4. I really can't wait, but I'll have to... at least until November. Any thoughts?

I'm looking forward to the new rifle and the human shield thing, but the real shield is kinda lame.

I cant wait either. I saw a vid about it and epic says that they will have the most detailed flamethrower in the gaming world. Definately gonna sell out fast so get a copy pre-ordered.

I'm looking forward to it. The main game wasa ton of fun, and I enjoyed multiplayer for a while. Although now-a-days if you don't belong to a close-knit group online you're gonna get crushed in multiplayer. And that sucks.

I'm really excited and so are the 6 other's in our group, but we mostly just want it for the Story. We plan on buying it, playing the carp out of it and then selling it back to Gamestop.
We agree that the one thing we didn't like about the multi player were the people, not so much the gameplay just the other players. I know every game has them, those types that can't seam to go through a game without cussing up a storm in your direction, and don't get me wrong, I love some good solid trash talk, but when it's coupled with batent stupity, it just feels sick. (P.S. I also feel the same way about Halo 2-3) My mind is the Pink Zippo that sits on top of a pack of Camel Wides.
