Love Slam Bradley, both in his original (if, uhh, occasionally racist) Golden Age version and his more modern Cooke version. I'm shocked there's not a ton of his Cooke art in high quality on the internet. I'd recommend his cover for Solo #5 if we can get something workable out of it.

Masters of Investigation have initiative. In T2 Lobster takes height shooting Wrecker for a wound, and Wrecker engages Lobster giving him 2 wounds. In T3 Jessica moves out, and Piledriver engages Lobster striking him down only to watch him rise again.
R2
The Wrecking Crew have initiative. In T1 Piledrive takes out Lobster, and Jessica gives Piledriver 3 wounds and views OM 2. In T2 Piledriver disengaged from Jessica to engage Question who used a Smoke Pellet to evade with Slam and Wrecker moved up and Pile driver engaged Zemo taking hm out, OM on Zemo. In T3 Wrecker anihilated Jessica and Piledriver engaged Question who used his last Smoke Pellet to escape with Slam again and Wrecker engaged Question from height giving him 3 wounds, and Question used Master Detective to reveal and Remove the 'X' from Wrecker and gave him a wound.

The Masters of Investigation have initiative. In T1 Question disengaged giving Piledriver a wound, and Piledriver finished off Question. In T2 Slam engaged Piledriver (whiff!), and Piledriver took out Slam (whiff!).
Who won and how many wounds did they have? The Wrecking Crew won with Wrecker bearing 2/6 wounds, Piledriver bearing 4/6 wounds, and Thunderball and Bulldozer unwounded.

The Police investigators have initiative. In T1 Slam takes to the Asphalt. In T2 a Cod Blue Officer gives Sandman 2 wounds letting the Lawmen move twice (Rescue Mission & Coordinated Efforts), and Sandman Sandstorms taking out a Beat Cop and giving a Code Blue Officer a wound before healing a wound himself. In T3 the Beat Cops move in giving Rick Flag a wound.

The Police Investigators have initiative. In T1 Sandman went Sandstorming giving a Code Blue Offficer a wound and then finishes them off with a well placed punch and Freeze places an Ice Rock taking out 2 Beat Cops. In T2 Sandman Sandstorms taking out 2 Beat Cops and giving a Code Blue Officer a wound and Freeze finishes off the Code Blue Officer. In T3 Scarecrow injects Lieutenant Stone and takes out a Beat Cop who took the wounds for Lieutenant Stone.

The Police Investigators have initiative. In T1 Slam moves in Shooting Waller for a wound. In T2 Slam engages and takes out Waller (3/3 skulls vs whiff!).

The Police Investigators have initiative. In T1 Scarecrow Injects Gordon. In T2 Slam takes height on Asphalt gunning down Scarecrow (5/5 skulls vs 1/4 shields!), and Sandman Sandstorms taking out a Beat Cop. In T3 the last Code Blue Officer takes height shooting Sandman for 3 wounds (Contingency Plan), and Sandman Sandstorms taking out 2 Beat Cops.

Suicide Squad has initiative. In T1 Freeze gave Lieutenant Stone2 wounds, and the last Code Blue Officer guns down Rick Flag. In T2 Sandman would take out Oracle but a Beat Cop saves her, and Slam runs in shooting Freeze for 3 wounds with Oracle's Secret Attack Plan. In T3 Freeze finished off Lieutenant Stone, and Slam engaged and finished off Freeze.

Avengers have initiative. In T1 Cap moves up throwing his shield to give Star-Lord a wound, and Cage would take out Bane but Valkyrie saves him. In T2 Cage gave Angel a wound. In T3 Slam gives Daredevil a wound but can't shake him down so attacks again and would take him out but Daredevil Goes the Distance, and Daredevil moves up taking out Angel with a Brutal Strike giving him 2 wounds plus another and Cage gives Bane 3 wounds (whiff!)

The Avengers have initiative. In T1 Cap gives Fist 2 wounds, and Fist Leapt into engagement with Valkyrie and Cage would take out Bane but Valkyrie saves him taking a wound for her trouble. In T2 Slam gave Daredevil 2 wounds over 2 attacks, and Daredevil gave Slam 3 wounds. In T3 Valkyrie kills Fist, and Daredevil would have taken out Slam twice but Valkyrie saves him and Cage would take out Ban but Valkyrie runs back saving him and taking a wound for her efforts.

Fight Club has initiative. In T1 Daredevil would take out Slam twice but Valkyrie saves him taking a wound for her effort. In T2 Cage would take out Bane but Valkyrie saves him taking a wound for her effort, and Slam would take out Daredevil but he Goes the Distance and Slam Shakes down Daredevil getting the X off of his Card. In T3 Cage would take out Bane but Valkyrie saves him taking a wound for her effort, and Slam Shakes down Daredevil taking him out (2 attacks).

Who won and how many wounds did they have? Fight Club won with Moon Knight bearing 3/5 wounds and Luke Cage bearing 4/5 wounds.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: He's fun but nothing too special. He did some decent damage in the second 2 tests but ultimately his teams lost every game so I wouldn't mind seeing him come down 10 points.


GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: I liked him but he doesn't really add much except for a potential double attack. His first power is limited in usefulness so I really want to send him to public testing at 80 points.

Initial is fully posted and linked. I'll give you all some time to look it over, but I'm pretty happy with him overall.

As a bit of an aside, Ark and I got to talking while testing him and thought it was a bit odd that the Street Fighter power doesn't include road tiles. What are your guys' thoughts on adding that into that power and adjusting it for each figure that has that special power. It would be a slight bump in effectiveness but makes that power generally more useful as more maps have road tiles than asphalt or concrete tiles and makes it seem more like "street fighting."

Well, technically road tiles are specifically cobblestone fantasy roads, from Classic Scape. So not something he'd ever use.

It's a quirk of terrain-specific powers, which is why I don't like them in general. Too cheesy and hard to army build for.

Well, yea, but in game mechanics make it basically the same thing as the roads they would use. Sure it's odd and quirky, but some places still have cobblestone roads and that quirkiness literally defines Heroscape.

Probably not someplace Slam (Or Luke, or Street Thugs) would hang out though. Roads already have their inherent bonus, I'm hesitant to add this too.

I'd be iffy on changing Street Fighter just because it's been part of the game for so long. Functional errata to Luke Cage at this point is... not great.

If we wanted to wholesale change it to something like GOTHAM STREET FIGHTER and include roads and shadow tiles, I wouldn't be opposed. Gotham has no shortage of weird anachronistic spots.

It's not a must, I liked him as is, just an errant conversation we had. Cage did give me pause though.
