Right now the SP says figure when it should say Unique Hero probably, I’d also consider limiting the recruitment to Heroes without the Super Strength special power or his best army is going to be something with Thor or some other unthematic option

Funny Thor was was of the guys I was worried about. Adding the Super Strength clause helps with that. Also eliminating Event Heroes is also good. Bonding Pirate Godzilla anyone!

I'm liking where this design is right now. Anyone else have any more thoughts or concerns? If not I'll probably put it up for an initial vote tonight.

You can delete the second commas of the first and third sentences of Pirate Code.

For this section:

"If Yondu attacked and did not inflict a wound on an enemy figure, choose an opponent to move an order marker from this card to another Pirate army card you control."

Does that clause only apply when he attacks on his turn? Or if he were somehow given an out of turn attack, would it still apply? If it's the latter, I'd change to present tense "attacks and does not".

Looks good overall! Should be fun. Make sure to update the thread title when you do call a vote (technically you're in the Design Phase now, but doesn't terribly matter until you move into VOTE for Initial Playtesting).

Looks cool. I would suggest changing the name on the last power to YAKA ARROW FRENZY since it meets the mechanics of established Frenzy powers and since he has another power referencing the arrow as well.

I used enhanced so it would show that this is v2.0 of the Arrow. I or someone else, may make the original version of Yondu which would be the bow and arrow version. I'll keep enhanced but add Frenzy, which I like, it stays in line with Classic figures like the Elf Archers and Vipers.

I added "After revealing an order marker on this card" to Pirate Code. Should I still change the tense?

You added that to a separate clause in the power so it's unclear whether it's intended to affect the sentence about what happens when he doesn't inflict wounds or not.

Is this better? I want both clauses to work only when he reveals an order marker on his card.

PIRATE CODE
At the start of the game, you may choose a Unique Hero you control without the Super Strength special power. For the remainder of the game, that figure has the class of Pirate instead of what is listed on its card. After revealing an order marker on this card and taking a turn with Yondu, for each wound he inflicted on an enemy figure you may either:

• move and attack with a Common Pirate you control; or
• move or attack with a Unique Pirate Hero you control.

If an order marker was revealed on this card and Yondu attacked and did not inflict a wound on an enemy figure, choose an opponent to move an order marker from this card to another Pirate army card you control.
