Early would be '03, but I think you'd normally see a first power eliminated in '04 or '05. It's exciting to see minor powers lingering, and meaningfully affecting the game.

I wouldn't know how to figure that out, but 1906 having all 7 players remain feels pretty late.

Theoretically, Austria could be eliminated in '01. You would need Austrian cooperation for that to happen, though. In '02, pretty much any power could find itself broken on the reefs of an opposing alliance, but I think most games probably feature a first elimination in '03 or '04. If it's Austria hopelessly outmaneuvered diplomatically, maybe a little earlier; if it's Russia or England, maybe a little later.

From Gascony to Moscow you can trace a path of 7 consecutive territories having a unit from each nation. Not even a water space.

I'm no veteran of this game but that seems like a rare and kind of cool situation.
