Johnny later disagreed in this thread, and cited precedence from 2011. (Tbf, the precedence was mostly just Johnny raising the same issue in 2011 and not facing much resistance.) It sat for a good bit with nobody but Bats replying, but I know not everybody has eyes on On Deck threads.

I’ll be honest, I’m just so apathetic on the issue that it’s hard for me to make a definitive decision about it. I usually prefer the option that requires 0 card updates instead of 2, but I also respect Johnny’s dedication towards consistency.

I’ll just keep it without the extra word. Less work. If anybody wants to debate that further, feel free, but I’m not interested in doing so.

There's a potential update for Robotics engineering here and on Gizmo, but sounds like none of us really care to do that.
