Blacklight and Heroscape figures...

Well my girlfriend and I were playing Heroscpae yesterday and I got thise brillant idea to turn off all the lights and switch on this fairly large black light, and move it where I could shine all over the map we were playing,figures, cards etc. and I notcied that my Markus figure along with Jotun where completely orange? I inspected all the figures that came in the same packs as them but they weren't like that. So I wondering has anyone else ever tried this?
