Carolina Order Marker 3: Delta+VC (March 30)

What's up South Atlantic Scapers!
After a fantastic COM1 and COM2, we are thrilled to announce Carolina Order Marker 3!

What? A 4-round, swiss, tournament. Each round will be 50-55 minutes. If after 4 rounds, two or more people are each 4-0, we will have an optional 5th round so that the championship game can occur.
When? March 30 from 12:30-5 PM. Map building will begin around 12. Check-in will begin around 12:30. First round will begin at 1 PM!
Where? An rad local game store: Atomic Empire (3400 Westgate Dr #14b, Durham, NC 27707)
Cost? $10 (which will be used for prize support)

Format?

1. Valhalla Customs-inclusive (learn more here)
2. Delta Points (learn more here)
3. Point Limit: 475
4. Figure Limit: 18 (Airborne Elite and Rechets of Bogdan count towards Figure Number). If your army is more than 24 hexes (b/c double-spaced figures), bring extra tiles to build out the back of the start zone.
5. No Marvel units allowed

Is anyone else getting bad links for the maps?

I also have an army building question. Outside of one or two that increase, there is occasionally a price reduction from DVC to DC, I'm assuming because DVC introduces units that could synergize well with them so they needed an adjustment. If we don't have or plan to use DVC, would it be an unmanageable idea to use the DV point value for that army? This is the first time I've played with Delta, so I don't know enough to understand if the changes are made based on your opponents figures as well (i.e. a DV cost is stronger versus an SoV/C3V unit). Looking through the list, it may be a moot point as I don't personally see anything that would suddenly make me choose a unit based on cost, but it might make the difference of having a few extra points to pick a different one elsewhere. Just food for thought if it makes any sense.

Fixed the map links.

Regarding your question on DVC (Delta VC) and DC (Delta Classic):
Even if you do not have any VC units in your army, the point cost of any unit you use should be their Delta VC point cost.
