Re: The Book of Wonder Girl (II) ~ Initial Testing
Good, good notes! Not sure it's worth the cost of Wonder Girl to do that, but I'll definitely take it into consideration.

Re: The Book of Wonder Girl (II) ~ Initial Testing
The once per figure turn part definitely helps and makes the Tim Drake combo probably the better one. Arsenal also gets cut out of the bonus since he isn’t taking a turn.
Aqualad (Garth) is another decent pairing since he can turn bond with Sidekicks to let you double up on the attack bonus. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Wonder Girl (II) ~ Initial Testing
Hmm something that got lost in the wording changes is that only figures with OMs were intended to get the bonus, to not make Robin and Garth too powerful. Maybe it's not an issue, but something easily adjusted if needed.

Well it definitely pushes her towards Robin builds, which is, good, I think?

Re: The Book of Wonder Girl (II) ~ Initial Testing
C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM
NAME OF THE PLAYTEST UNIT: Wonder Girl Army Test Summary: Not a great showing for Young Justice. They were cut down at their knees. Robin started out pretty scary, grabbing height easily and rolling 5 attack, but even then he couldn’t get any wounds. Superboy dying in essentially one hit really hurt them, too (He had one wound from saving Robin once) Map: Custom Units: Wonder Girl (200), Robin (Tim 2), CM Jr, Superboy (Kon), Robin (Dick) (1000) Vs Fantastic Four
Spoiler Alert!
___________________________________________________________ Army Test Summary: I really thought the Xmen had this one, but Wonder Girl cleaned up at the end. Though her abilities felt a bit lackluster. Robin dies real quick, and Hit Anything is basically useless, so I’m going to tweak it a bit. Map: Custom Units: Wonder Girl (200), Robin (Tim 2), Arsenal, Starfire, CM Jr, Superboy (Kon) (1300) Vs. X-Men, Aurora, Armor (1300)
Spoiler Alert!
___________________________________________________________ Army Test Summary: WG is feeling better with the changes to Hit Anything, but they were still slaughtered. Map: Custom Units: Wonder Girl (200), Starfire, Raven, Nightwing (800) Vs. Wrecking Crew
Spoiler Alert!
___________________________________________________________ Army Test Summary: Now that I have some tweaks and a feel for the new characters, it’s going much better. Robin doesn’t really want to engage, just pick away from range and give his Deduction support. WG is solid on her own, with the Attack Plan being a nice bonus, but now Hit Anything is actually possibly her best ability! Autowounds and lockdown is very nice with Robin and other squishier people around. Map: Custom Units: Wonder Girl (190), Robin (YJ), Superboy, Arrowette, Batgirl (Cassie) Vs. Wrecking Crew
Spoiler Alert!
___________________________________________________________ THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: She might need some fine tuning, but I think she’s getting there. Not sure she’s on par with Nightwing, but definitely plays different! She still likes Superboy a LOT, though. Especially to keep Robin safe. But her “Hit Anything” power does a better job of that now without Superboy, at least. GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Pretty happy here! Obviously you want ground pounders, but having Arrowette in reserve is really cool. Her and Robin are fairly formidable, so I think we’re on the right track! |

Re: The Book of Wonder Girl (II) ~ Initial Testing
So I tweaked her Hit Anything to this:
Quote:
That way it encourages Markers on WG, also the enemy figures don't need to start their turn for it to activate, it activates while they move past, which helps protect figures like Robin, who is sniping from behind and providing the defense reduction. Obviously I'm sure the wording needs work. I think the intent is clear. Also cleaned up the first power a little, so I want to move to public testing with this: Quote:
Might go down to 180 or 190, but I think 200 is a fine place to start. |

Cool, right ballpark then. I was going to throw some armies together this afternoon and set up tonight, but the draft distracted me

Re: The Book of Wonder Girl (II) ~ Initial Testing
I think that's a good update. Keeps the boost going as the army goes down, and lets her still feel aggressive. I dig it. Hit Anything that Moves is a fun lockdown power.
