4 life definitely seems like the right way to go for me.

Human and Buddy Summers also looks good.

I like the current Big Bad power. Knowing from experience how much blanks can affect gameplay (Zauriel), they will definitely have an impact. I wouldn't be against 4 attack though. Big Bag does not need a marker however, just like with Jonah Hex's Bounty, it's easy enough to remember one figure until Buffy or that figure dies.

Our parameter for Superstrength is "can they lift 1 ton?" The answer is, No, Buffy cannot lift a car. So therefore no Superstrength.

I don't think the upper limits of Buffy's strength are ever fully shown. I agree that a car may be a bit of a stretch for her but she is stronger than any vampire and, while it's hard to say how the show's vamps would translate over, C3G vampires have SuperStrength. I also feel that SS would have her play more like Buffy with things like Knockback.

Slayers aren't just well-trained humans, they're gifted power from demons and Buffy is the strongest of them. She goes out every night to fight vampires, demons and other baddies, and her fighting style is not one of dodging out of the way. Deflecting, yes, but she takes plenty of blows that would injure a normal human and shrugs them off. Except for the two times she's died (), I don't think she's ever really seen recuperating from any damage. I think there's a very strong precedent for augmented-humans (which is what Buffy is) having 5 life.

I can live with dropping either her life or SS, but I feel that losing both would make her far too weak to be Buffy.

I prefer to only use markers when necessary, so I'm good with dropping it.

Hmm, yeah, good point about C3G vampires having it. I definitely think if they have it she should, so the question becomes:

A) Should both have it

or

B) Should neither?

Because it should definitely be one of those two options!

Marvel vampires have super strength but Buffy vampires don't. The issue is that we're mixing universes now.

I think the question we should be answering is how heavy Olaf the Troll God's Enchanted Hammer is. If it's anywhere in the 1000 lbs. range than she qualifies, I think.

Hmm ... I believe 2,000 lbs (1 ton) is our typical cut off point, so she's not qualifying by that standard. I take back what I said about Vampires before, too, since Johnny helpfully pointed out that we're dealing with Vampires in different universes.

So I'm definitely against SS here.

I agree that the evidence shows her falling short of the SuperStrength cut-off, so I'll drop that. I do still feel that 5 life is the best choice here, and the link q posted seems to back that up:

Superhuman Durability: A Slayer's body is substantially more durable and resistant to blunt force trauma than an ordinary human's. It is difficult, though not impossible, to bruise them, break their bones or strain their joints.

Accelerated Healing: Despite this durability to blunt force, a Slayer's skin can be punctured by sharp weapons such as knives or bullets, but they recover from even very severe injuries in remarkably short periods of time. Usually, Buffy is completely healed within 24 hours of being injured, though more serious injuries have been shown to take at least a few days. Buffy has survived contact with a live electrical wire; the normally lethal jolt simply renders her unconscious.
