Name = Hiroim species = Shadow uniqueness = unique hero class = Warbound personality = Shamed size/height = medium 5 life = 6 move = 5 range = 1 attack = 4 defense = 5 Super Strength points = 300 - 350 Warbound Pact At the start of the game you may choose one unique hero you control. While there is at least one Warbound figure you control in play the chosen figure has the class of Warbound instead of what is listed on that figures card. Old Strong Power After moving and before attacking you may roll the 20 sided die
When attacking an opponent's adjacent figure with a normal attack, add one automatic skull to whatever is rolled. When defending against a normal attack from an adjacent figure, add one automatic shield to whatever is rolled, and all excess shields count as unblockable hits on the attacking figure. The figure used for this is: any ideas? Bio: Originally, Hiroim was a Shadow Priest, dedicated to the story of the Sakaarson he who would unite the people of Sakaar and trained to join the other Shadows. However, for his blasphemy of daring to dream that he could be the Sakaarson, he was expelled from the order. He was then chosen to be the personal guard of the Emperor of Sakaar, and to uphold an alliance between the Shadows and the Empire. He broke this vow however, when the Emperor ordered Hiroim to kill his adolescent son, due to the belief that he would bring ruin and devastation to Sakaar (a prediction that ended up coming to pass). For breaking that oath, he ended up in the Empire's gladiator training school, the Maw,where he fought alongside such other warriors as Miek, No-Name the Brood, Korg and the Hulk. After two victories in the arena — during which their teammate Lavin Skee was badly injured, having heard the stories of his allies, Hiroim formed a Warbound pact with them, vowing that they would always stand together. Having been freed from their obedience disks by the Silver Surfer, theWarbound went on to vanquish the Red King, Hiroim concluding that the Hulk was the true Sakaarson. |

Name = Miek species = Insectoid uniqueness = unique hero class = Warbound personality = Vengeful size/height = medium 5 life = 5 move = 5 range = 1 attack = 4 defense = 5 Flying points = 200 - 250 King Miek Miek also has the class of Ruler in addition to the class that is listed on this card. Strange Pairings After revealing an Order Marker on this card and taking a turn with Miek, you may immediately take a turn with a No-Name figure you control that has this special power, and you may not take any additional turns with other figures you control or move other figures you control. During this turn, that No-Name figure cannot use any special attacks. For The Hive! Special Attack Range 1 Attack 3 Miek may attack with this special attack up to 4 times in a turn. Miek must reduce the number of attacks by 1 for each wound marker on this figures army card. The figure used for this is: Miek #016 Marvel Heroclix Mutations and Monsters Bio: Miek was a member of planet Sakaar's native race of insectoids. When he was young his father and most of his hive were attacked and killed by local Imperials, forcing Miek to flee underground. He was accidentally rescued, as an outcast slave, during Hulk's battle with the Red King. Soon after, the Warbound escaped with Miek secretly leading them to the place where his father was killed. The Warbound then aided him in securing his revenge.Miek and Brood, who have formed a connection due to their insect nature, freed Miek's brothers and added the Warbound to his Hive. Within a short time, he underwent a metamorphosis and evolved into a giant heavily armored"King" version of his race. |

I went with "Friends fighting for Friends" as just kind of a filler for now. Warbound I feel would be to generic. I know the Warbound would be a powerful faction but I feel that would be thematic considering the damage they do to Earth when they arrive. |

Name = Korg species = Kronan uniqueness = unique hero class = Warbound personality = size/height = medium 5 life = 7 move = 5 range = 1 attack = 6 defense = 7 Super Strength points = 300 - 350 Warbound Shield Wall All Warbound figures you control within 6 clear sight spaces of Korg add 1 additional defense die when defending against a normal attack. Lava Resistant Korg never rolls for molten lava damage or lava field damage and does not have to stop his movement in molten lava spaces. The figure used for this is: Korg #018 Incredible Hulk Marvel Heroclix Mutations and Monsters Bio: Korg is part of the Kronan race seen in Journeyinto Mystery #83. After his defeat at the hands of Thor when the Stone men tried to invade Earth, Korg became a prisoner of the Red King on the alien planet of Sakaar. He was forced into slavery by an obedience disk and made to fight for his life in the gladiatorial arenas. Korg was made to kill his brother Margus against his will. This fact still haunts Korg to this day. When the Hulk was exiled to the Red King's planet, Korg became the Hulk's ally after he and five others were victorious during one of the gladiator games that rule on the planet as a form of entertainment. Korg was the first to let the group talk to each other, and after more victories in the game, Korg became a gladiator. Still fighting alongside the Hulk, Korg was part of the group that rebelled against the Red King after the Silver Surfer used his Power Cosmic to destroy the disks that controlled the slaves. The Surfer had also been made a slave by such a disk, but it was destroyed by the Hulk when they were forced to battle. |

Name = Elloe Kaifi species = Imperial uniqueness = unique hero class = Warbound personality = Elitist size/height = medium 5 life = 4 move = 5 range = 1 attack = 3 defense = 4 points = 150 - 200 Warbound Unity If all order markers are placed on Warbound figures you control, any time a Warbound figure you control takes a turn you may immediately move up to 2 other Warbound figures you control up to 4 spacese ach. MASTERMARTIAL ARTIST When attacking an opponent's adjacent figure with a normal attack, add one automatic skull to whatever is rolled. When defending against a normal attack from an adjacent figure, add one automatic shield to whatever is rolled, and all excess shields count as unblockable hits on the attacking figure. Sakaaran Blaster Special Attack Range 7 Attack 3 When rolling attack dice for this Special Attack, if Elloe Kaifi rolls a skull on every die, the defending figure immediately receives one unblockable hit before rolling defense dice. The figure used for this is: Any ideas? Bio: Prior to the events of PlanetHulk, Elloe Kaifi was the daughter of Ronan Kaifi, a member of a high-ranking family on the planet Sakaar. Enjoying a relatively carefree life for most of her early years, Elloe's life changed when her father spoke out against the Red King, resulting in his titles being stripped from him and he, his daughter and her bodyguard Lavin Skee being sent to the gladiator training school, the Maw. When her father protested at his treatment, he was killed by the guards shortly before the training battle began, of which Elloe and Lavin were two of the seven survivors. Initially lacking combat skills, Elloe received training from Skee before she left the group to try to aid rebels in an attack on the emperor. After she and her fellow rebels were captured and brought before her former comrades in the arena, shortly after their third victory in the arena over the'Silver Savage', the gladiators were ordered to kill Elloe and the others to earn their freedom. Hiroim the Shamed revealed that Lavin Skeehad been killed in battle earlier, and that the others had formed a Warbound Pact; thus, since Skee had served Elloe, the Warbound could not kill her without violating their oath. Although their obedience discs were activated, the Warbound were freed when the Surfer destroyed the discs, allowing them to escape and begin a rebellion against the Red King. |

Re: Public Design Post
What's the theme for Warbound Shield Wall? Is he protecting the other figures with his shield? Or do all of these guys carry shields (I admittedly do not know)? And shouldn't it work more like the Romans where they have to be adjacent?
Personally, I think this guy looks like a perfect candidate for Thing's Brick Wall Defense, judging by the art. |

Lol no they don't all carry shields. I was going for a gladiator theme with the shield wall name. Honestly the power itself though was supposed to represent more of his strategic side, I was debating between that or a more detective ability that would allow for some order marker movement. The Things Rock Wall Defense would work perfectly for him, I just wasn't sure if that was too on the nose? I didn't want him to feel like a carbon copy of The Thing. |

Re: Public Design Post
Well, first off, his stats seem high. I'd go with 5 attack, 6 defense and bring his life down to 5 or 6. I doubt this guy should be more powerful than Thing. Then you could go Brick Wall Defense, Lava Resistant and maybe something like
WARBOUND COMRADERIE Any Warbound figure you control adjacent to Korg rolls an additional defense die when defending against an adjacent attack. You should have one King figure (Hulk presumably) who really ties the faction together and the other Warbound should probably have a light touch. |
