Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Mysterio
Yeah, he's OK. The range on Smoke and Mirrors is a major limiter. The move with him is to play him with Sinister Six or Amanda Waller and have Electro sidle up next to him while he's engaged, then hope he's attacked and you can swap someone next to Electro. Not much reason to activate him, though, other than to try to use him to tie figures down, and Vulture and figures like him are better at pulling off Electro shenanigans.
Mysterio is probably ripe for a v2, honestly. 2/C+ C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Mysterio
Honestly his movement powers paired with his nonthreatening single attack of 3, mean you'll pretty much just ignore him and focus on the others, unless you can get some cheap aoe/autowounds out. An actually dangerous V2 isn't a bad idea, maybe those Holograms would finally see play again as well.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Mysterio
Smoke and Mirrors is a cool power but you have to take turns with him to set up a good placement for it, and turns with him aren't super rewarding, which makes guys like Vulture a lot more efficient at what he does.
He could stand a vII, or you could beef him up with more support pieces like the Holograms - maybe some Mysterio Robots. I want to say LO had some ideas about special terrain/traps for him too? Dunno if she had a write-up hanging around. |

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Mysterio
It'd be cool if a VII could sorta work in a power based on what he does in Old Man Logan.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Sandman
I like the comic art. He's a pretty solid figure.with a fair amount of options. I've used him a bunch, one of those figures that sticks around

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Sandman
Kraven - Guy is a beast for 200. Monstrous in a Sinister Six build, still totally solid in pretty much everything else.
Mysterio - I think he'd be a much better disruptor if Vanishing Act was a slightly easier roll. As is, he's a guy you usually don't want to feed OMs to, but he can mess up your opponents positioning in a big way if needed. Sandman - Solid Criminal beater. Brings both autowounds and a solid attack stat, tough to go wrong with him. |

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Sandman
Sandman is solid. Autowounds and healing make him a menace in the endgame.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Sandman
All of these guys are great in a Sinister Six build. Outside of that, Kraven still really shines, but there are generally better options than Mysterio and Sandman.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Sandman
Sandman's a very reliable B+ figure. 4 Stars.
