I did argue against it way back when but that's what got voted for.

Must makes more sense in general for how cards are worded, IMO. The touchpoints for a concern are things like the Hasbro ruling (based on Grimnak's sloppy verbiage) and the FAQ on Blob for Stuck being optional (which would have to be overruled and changed, IMO).

We'd also want to research to see if it impacts other things, of course.

A big weird one to consider (which was a bit harder to track down since we use 0% of the text on our cards) is flying. Flying is written in the imperative but is obviously played as a "may" power.

Yeah the Blob thing should go. There are very few instances where you'd let them go (Unless you're playing a big multiplayer game with some weird politics going on)

I think maybe Attack and Move powers should get a pass, since its understood that attacking and moving are optional to begin with? Though that could muddy the waters more. But also if we change the flying text, that fortunately doesn't require any card updates (Maybe a rulebook update, though?)

I think it may be impossible to have a default ruling. It may have to be "it should be apparent in each card and if it's not, we'll FAQ it."

Flying text really bones us if we want to say things are default "must," IMO.

Blob is weird. I'm assuming Immovable's "unless the player controlling Blob allows him to be moved" is to allow Blob to be Thrown by Magneto. EDIT: Appears designed for when he's mind controlled as well.
And the lack of that line is to allow Stuck figures to "be moved," so Magneto can throw them.
I never realized that opponent's figure movers can get figures un-Stuck. Is that intentional?
Also never realized Blob can be moved by glyphs.

All small or medium opponent's figures that enter or occupy a space adjacent to Tar Pit may not move. Figures affected by Stuck cannot be moved by any special power on an Army Card.
