Character Bio - Far from planet Earth, in the Large Magellanic Cloud, lies the Kree Empire, one of the most prolific civilizations in the universe. The Empire owes its success largely to their expert military, a trained and disciplined fighting force that has brought the enemies of the Kree to their knees time and time again. Kree Soldiers form the backbone of the Kree military, striking fast and hard at the command of Kree officers. These Privates are loyal and unwavering; they do not question commands, they do not flinch from battle, and they do not show mercy.

When rolling for initiative, add 1 to your roll for each previously destroyed Kree Soldier in your army, up to a maximum of +6.

KREE INVASION
After revealing an Order Marker on the card of a Unique Kree Hero you control and taking a turn with that Hero, if there is at least 1 Kree Soldier you control within 8 clear sight spaces of that Hero, you may either:

• move as many Kree Soldiers you control as the Life number of that Hero; or
• attack with as many Kree Soldiers you control as Wound Markers on that Hero's card.

Been looking forward to this, does it mean you will be filling out a full booster of Kree then? I'm excited about the Kree Empire getting fully fleshed out. Looking at the design again and the powers look good to me. I really dig how you can move them up quickly, but won't start attacking with them until the Hero takes some wounds. As for stats, I would but up the defense of professional soldiers form a intergalactic space faring civilization. Between their advanced armor and combat training I would think 4 or 5 defense would be more fitting.

I have 3 planned for the Kree. I was thinking of running a couple Skrull to help fill out an invasion themed booster.

My first thought is that Kree Invasion will be too strong. A mobile shield for Mar-Vell or Quasar could be pretty nasty, especially if they start getting solid attacks when the Hero takes a few wounds.

Another, slightly gimmicky, build would be hitting your own Ronan for a couple wounds, and then podding them next to him to boost up their attacks. At two wounds, it's not much better than the Scouts, except for the ability to move more than two figures, but at three or four, it could be interesting.

I like the general direction for sure though.

I think you can probably mitigate any balance issues by making it an "or" statement. Either Move with X figures OR Attack with Y figures.

In general though, yeah, definitely a fan of this design. A real classic.

Cool design, I really like it.

I do worry that Kree Invasion will be a little strong, either used just to run interference while your big Kree hero beats on the enemy, or used with Ronan to get a lot of solid attacks.

Forgot about Ronin boosting them, 4 def seem right then to me. And I like the 'or' suggestion for Invasion.

Turns any Kree Hero into a ranged Krug, kind of. This is certainly an interesting card.

If priced correctly, I don't think it's broken, really. It does strongly encourage you to kill the soldiers first, but as long as they cost enough (35? 40?) any army that has some sort of distributed attack shouldn't have too much trouble with them. Although Ronan + Soldiers does sound pretty strong.

The init boost does lead to some interesting possibilities like Ronan + KS x8 + Joker.

Rewording suggestions. For Collective Consciousness, you don't need the "while at least one of them is alive" wording, because once they're all dead, the power is no longer in effect. For Kree Invasion, I think it reads better as a bullet list personally; you also missed a couple "you control"s.

Otherwise, I really like where this design is at.
