Let's start off with 5 life and see how he plays in initials. If his support is proving good enough on its own, we can always dial back starting with life.

That said, sounds like the rest of the design has been hammered out.

So that doesn't really wash. That being said, especially given he is a leader, I'm perfectly happy with 5 Life as long as we make it clear that exceptional but unenhanced Humans with 5 Life are not taboo.

Life is not a measure of Strength.

More a combination of constitution, endurance, and grit, with some room to fold in low level rejuvenation powers. It’s how well you can take a hit and keep going and how much punishment you can take. Strength is a measure of how much you can lift and how hard you can hit with brute force.

Just pointing out the irrelevance of your evidence. I would agree there’s no indication that he has any superhuman constitution or endurance. The only thematic justification I can think of for 5 Life over 4 is that there’s evidence within the source material that he’s at his best in a leadership role and you could argue that when he’s locked in like that, he has improved grit.

Cyke at 5 Life is a cheat, absolutely. It's an exception I'm not against making but one we should avoid if possible - the dude is baseline human in everything except his horrible laser face.
