You're right Spidey. Must have been that Three Floyds beer I was drinking yesterday talking.

Oh, I thought it was ... "What? Can I do others??"
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Street Thugs
Sorry about seeming like a whiny jerk. What I meant was, could you put it on the list of appropriate miniatures so people wouldn't think that they would have to hunt for more than one of a hard-to-find miniature?

Re: The Book of Street Thugs
There is no list of appropriate miniatures. The minis listed are the ones used on the card, so there is only 1 sculpt. You certainly can proxy with any figure you like (I proxy with tons of figures), there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Re: The Book of Street Thugs
Just proxy, is what we're saying. I do it all the time. Omnicrom Snipers are my go to proxy for squads, since I have a buttload of them.
I understand that proxying drives some people nuts (I had a hard time with it at first) but honestly after playing a while you start to value the mechanics and gameplay over the aesthetics. And personally, I'd much rather see more customs using every availabe figure (thus creating a larger world) than being super anal about what figure belongs to what card. I think what you should take from this conversation is, by all means we condone you using the Mugger instead of the Joe Chill figure. Just don't expect it to be changed 'officially'. |

And the other thing you should take from this conversation is "proxy, proxy, proxy, it's the C3G way."

Re: The Book of Street Thugs
In my box, Muggers outnumber Street Thugs 7:1.

Re: The Book of Street Thugs
I have a large number of Street Thugs, but I bought a lot of them early before anyone was really following C3G. I don't have any of the Arkham Asylum minis though, so I just made some customs of other Horror Clix figures and the new Inmate Lex Luthor.

Thank you for clearing up my confusion. It will damage my OCD, but I will teach myself to PROXY.

Semi-Retired C3G Hero (and first Official Member of the C3G Target Audience!) The correct way to add C3G playtests to posts. My favorite day EVER on heroscapers.
