Does anyone have any ideas for Asgardian builds at lower points costs? I want to like them, and I kind of really do, but Odin is so prohibitively expensive...

I don't know about at lower point totals, they are god level characters for the most part. Sif at 230 and the generic Asguardian Warriors at 190 are the only mid-level options since the Warriors 3 are a whole army by themselves and Sif wants the 430 point Thor around. I suppose you could try drafting one of the Warriors 3 without the others and just accept they won't be using the bonding power. Fandral's swordplay at base attack 5 is pretty good all on it's own so that's a 280 point option, but Hogun & Volstagg are both pretty pricey at 310 & 330. You could try ......

Fandral 280 + Asguardian Warriors x3 570 + your favorite 150 point unit = 1000

My daughters and I enjoyed Venom yesterday.

Now that they have their driving permits and I've taken them driving a lot, I let one drive the half hour to the theater and the other drive back. Have to start getting in the habit of having them drive me around to routine places and not just practice-specific drives.

I went and saw it opening night. I can't honestly call it a good movie, but I enjoyed it. Tom Hardy really sold a movie that could have otherwise been super-bland.

I saw it! It was very enjoyable, but I don't think I'd call it close to good in my analytical eyes.

It did look bland to me, so can't say I'm surprised by that.

For me, if I'm entertained and enjoy a movie, then that's all that matters. And if my daughters enjoy it, then that's the main thing.

As far as the story, it didn't have much depth to it, but I like Tom Hardy and he made it better than if someone else was cast. A good bit of action and basically a mindless romp of a comic movie that was able to get out of the real world for a couple hours
