If there are at least 50 of a mini available at online stores, (36 at T&T, 12 at Cool Stuff, 1 at Miniature Market, etc.), is that enough to make a unit worth submitting? I am waiting for a response from Auggie's but that makes at least 50 even if Auggie only has one.

Depends on what type of unit it is. For a cheap x4 common squad probably not, but for an expensive unique hero it probably is.

Yep, depends on the unit, but 50 is probably the bare minimum for a unique hero.

I'm glad to see qt.bangerang joining the SoV, congratulations to him and the group.

This brings me to my question: If someone has figure molds, to produce at will (yes, I've heard that you can only use a rubber mold a few dozen times before it's worn out), would that make a figure available enough for consideration by the SoV?

qt's version of Hextrip's Zombikazes uses the Wave 6 zombie figures as a starting point. The card stats are slightly different, but I've seen his figures in person and I'd like to see either card considered by the SoV. If I recall correctly, the primary reason for Hextrip's nomination being declined was due to a lack of availability. Since there are two cards, I don't know which to nominate. On top of that, I don't know how many qt would want to produce and paint, but I hope he'd be willing!

Yeah, it was an early tragedy in the project that Hextr1p's Zombikazes were just too hard to find. And that was before Lamaclown bought half of them.

I'd be disinclined to look to a supply of minis that was created by one guy and his molds. Heck, I'm suspicious of a supply of minis with just one retailer (Auggie) when everyone else is sold out. And here we'd be talking about a common squad.

We haven't discussed it privately; that's my unofficial answer.
