my first Heroscape scenery... Updated Nov 5 Sandbags!
So I thought I would try my hand at making HS scenery. I first located some resin columns I had lying around my work shop, White HS 2 hexes (White) and some cat liter.
 I sanded down the resin and the hexes to make sure the glue would stick well together, I then glue the parts together with E6000 Clear craft adhesive. While that was drying I painted white glue on the base and pressed in the cat litter. (It absorbs the glue and water!) I then sprayed everything with black matte paint and waited over night. I then dry brushed the ruins with dark grey, mid grey, then highlighted with white. Here it is ready for playing my next Orc invasion!

Those look great! You might want to get away from hexes as bases though - I started with them and ended up thinking they were just too clunky.

They look great man. People always make me jealous when they use kitty litter to make it look like rubble, and rock. I don't have a cat so I won't buy the litter. Besides flocking is more of my taste. I made collums out of wedding cake pillars. here is a pic of how mine turned out
  I think yours look a bit more original. mine look a hare genaric I thnk. too many ppl use the wedding cake pillars. N-e-way keep up the good work and post more pics.. I love to see em

Litter is dirt cheap - consider it purchasing modding supplies. That or substitute for other stuff - use some sand and some small rocks found in your yard.
