What I am saying, is this: Skrulls organically mimic the looks and mannerisms of a species. Super Skrulls go one step further and allow them to mimic certain power sets. Wolverine's Adamantium skeleton is not genetically bonded, so why would a Skrull's be? Also, Collosus's body is made of a metal that mimics Osmium, how could the Skrulls reproduce what is really an unknown substance? I think the "close-but-no-cigar" approach here is the way to go. Meaning having the Skrulls mimic the powers but not have them identical makes more sense. So, yes to metallic skin and claws; No to Osmium Skin and Adamantium Claws.

For the claws just do minus one defense. I'm at a lose on what to do for the Skin so maybe just a defense of 8?

I agree on the claws (not sure on a name, though), and am similarly at a loss on the Skin ...

Well, making the Colossus representation a latent power (2 more defense) would allow his range to be dropped to 1 to allow him to gain Optic Defense Special Attack.

STEEL SKIN
When rolling defense dice against a normal attack, Super Skrull always adds 1 automatic shield to whatever is rolled. Super Skrull never rolls for Lava Field damage or Molten Lava damage.

REPLICATED CLAWS
Super Skrull adds an additional attack die when attacking an adjacent figure. If Super Skrull attacks an adjacent figure, he may attack one additional time.

SUPERSTRENGTH SYMBOL

Although I could see bumping his regular Defense up and giving him only Offensive powers. Something like:

STEEL SKIN
Super Skrull never rolls for Lava Field damage or Molten Lava damage. If Super Skrull makes a normal adjacent attack he may add one to his attack dice.

REPLICATED CLAWS
Figures adjacent to Super Skrull subtract one from their defense dice when attacked by Super Skrull. If Super Skrull attacks an adjacent figure, he may attack one additional time.

Maybe call it something like Optic Assault and reduce the range. Basically I see Super Skrulls as a toolbox with many options that aren't quite up to par with whoever they are copying.

How about Optic Burst? That sounds like a short range version of an Optic Blast to me.

SUPER SKRULL

NAME = Super Skrull

SECRET IDENTITY = Rl'nnd

LIFE = 5

MOVE = 5
RANGE = 8
ATTACK = 4
DEFENSE = 5

TELEPORT BARRAGE SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 1. Attack 3.
After attacking with Super Skrull's Teleport Barrage Special Attack, choose an any empty space within 3 spaces of Super Skrull. Place Super Skrull on the empty space. When Super Skrull moves due to Teleport Barrage Special Attack, he will not take any leaving engagement attacks. After Super Skrull uses his Teleport Barrage Special Attack, he may use it 2 additional times.
