Re: The Book of Hank Pym (Initial Playtesting)
I know I brought it up in the discord but never saw any response if there was one. What’s the reasoning/necessity on the OM reveal here? Cap needs an OM. Ms. Marvel wants OMs. Hawkeye needs an OM. Wasp wants OMs. Hulk wants an OM. I’m a little concerned at his usability with them if he too needs to be using numbered OMs to do his thing.

Re: The Book of Hank Pym (Initial Playtesting)
He should be completely usable without an Order Marker as written. Ms. Marvel and Wasp could still activate anyone on the battlefield. The OM here just lets you activate a Pym form while normal Hank is off the battlefield. You could pair him with Ms. Marvel, never give him a single Order Marker, and he should function just fine, I believe.
Unless I’m missing something? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Hank Pym (Initial Playtesting)
Yeah, as I understand it, he works just fine with any OM hubs. Only thing that doesn’t is Ant-Man.

Re: The Book of Hank Pym (Initial Playtesting)
We just need more common insects that bond with him directly without requiring OMs.

Must just not totally understand how it works, but I’m glad that it’s not an issue.

Re: The Book of Hank Pym (Initial Playtesting)
Quote:
2) In addition, if you reveal an OM on Pym Prime, you can take a turn with whatever Pym is on the battlefield. (And because of that, execute step 1 if you choose to do so.) So if you're taking a turn with Giant-Man through Wasp, you can still switch him to Ant-Man and take a turn with Ant-Man instead. But putting OMs on Pym Prime also works if you're playing them without an OM hub. He essentially becomes a Pym OM hub himself. At least that's how I'm reading it. Same wording as Beast Boy, and Beast Boy's mechanics were changed pretty recently so maybe a loophole does exist that I haven't thought of. |

Re: The Book of Hank Pym (Initial Playtesting)
The Order Marker part is just there so you don't get stuck with all your Order Markers on Pym while he's off the battlefield and then can't control the other form he switches to.

Re: The Book of Hank Pym (VOTE for Public Playtesting)
Anyways, just saw the Ant-Man vote passed, so seems the time for making changes there has passed. I'd like to call a VOTE for Public Playtesting at 90, with an eye to power him down if the first playtester has similar results to me.
