Pete for me hasn’t affected anything since he’s not really a leader at all. Otto is getting more consistent rather than fully powered up in my opinion. Either way they’ll be tested plenty going forward.

I think overall the faction has felt fairly underwhelming and we kept hoping the "next piece" would bring it all together, when really Pete and Otto were both just underperforming a bit.

I've played the Spider-Verse faction a LOT and something that still comes up is that I just feel like Otto is a better option for the faction regularly. Which is fine, Otto really starts gathering the Spiders together and such and Peter is reluctant to lead. But when I play Peter in the same slot at Otto (which we've kinda set them up to be since they are costed the same), Peter just feels disappointing.

With how specific this design is to Spider-Verse, does anyone have an issue with me dropping his points to 240?

I think that would make him much more appealing in the faction and he would not be remotely overpowered. As a generalist, he's worse than the original C3G Spider-Man that we have and this Spidey hits less hard and has limited bonding instead of Web Slinger which is a strong power. Right now that's a cost only offered by Agent Venom. Plus it also lets you use Otto and Peter as a nice 500 point base for Spider-Verse armies, or you can pair Peter with Spider-UK for a 450 point base.

No concerns here. Bonding with an attack of 4 which is conditional on the death of another Spider isn’t great synergy.

Pre-release check: The final line of Spidey-Senses 8 refers to "Web Swing" in the SP and "Web Swing 2" in the PDF. I think the "2" can be dropped from the PDF.

Edit: Looking at other Web Swing/Spidey cards, we are inconsistent whether we use the number in the power descriptions or not. Compare Spider-Man (Symbiote)'s Symbiote Spider-Senses 9 to Spider-Man (I)'s Spider-Senses 9.

I guess my suggestion is that THIS PDF/SP combination should be consistent with each other.

I'll drop the number. Pretty sure that's our more recent aesthetic and I probably just copied the text from Spider-Man (I). Especially since Web Swing itself doesn't even use Web Swing 2 in the power text. Cards updated.
