AoA Proxy Model Thread

My thinking is that if someone designs an original model (or just points to an existing model) with a fairly generic name and then posts it here with a note "this model should be a good proxy for so and so" I would guess it's pretty safe. But I'm not a lawyer.

I respect you and @Dysole weighing in and I probably should have asked prior to starting the thread. However I felt that the community would have attempted finding proxies for their private collections sooner or later regardless of how the others might feel about its presence on the site. Just trying to help them out and speed up the process of potentially integrating these units into the game (not expecting these to wind up tournament legal). I'll keep posting links as I find them and hope others do the same. No disrespect to the original designers obviously if it wasn't for their work this thread wouldn't exist.

Yeah I wouldn't be too concerned getting a c&d about a product not actually going (and based on the campaign hasbro had little to no interest in putting) into production.

As promised here are some (I think) fairly accurate Dawn Raiders. Being proxies these lean way harder into the pirate theme than the post apocalyptic look of the original models but I think it helps them stand out a bit more and they look nice next to the CV3 pirate squad.

One thing thats liberating about integrated squads is that you don't have to worry about body type or the race of the figure, you can just prioritize the essence the designers wanted to convey (like the rules, the poses of the sculpt, the equipment they use etc.)

The only good bug is a proxied bug. Here are some finds for the Nemesis Warbrood. Since they're only 3 revealed cards I figure I just put them all in this post.

Queen Maladrix The Conquerer (Im not 100% sold on this one tbh. It's serviceable but it doesn't evoke the royal quality of like the Queen from Aliens and just looks like a wild animal. If anyone has a better idea Id be all ears)

I was thinking about doing this once I find at least one proxy for each sculpt, but figured to do it in piecemeal so to not keep people waiting. I can still edit the original post to include pictures and the like though. Good suggestion!
