Re: The Book of Spider-Ham - VOTE for Public Playtesting
Eh, Wreck-Gar's already set to join the Brotherhood of Dada, not exactly a massive break for this guy to.

Re: The Book of Spider-Ham - VOTE for Public Playtesting
Goofy is a nice synonym for Absurd, don't mind enthusiastic either though.

Re: The Book of Spider-Ham - VOTE for Public Playtesting
I do think he's not really Absurd in the way the Dada characters are, so yeah, something like Goofy or Funny (as in,
) would probably work better. But not a dealbreaker either way.

Re: The Book of Spider-Ham - VOTE for Public Playtesting
Honestly, I'm not seeing the issue with Absurd here. Wreck-Gar's already got it, and goofy synergy's always been a part of Heroscape, from Classic Wave One, and it exists in C3G too. Should we really be trying that hard to keep odd synergy away from the faction whose aesthetic is being strange?

Re: The Book of Spider-Ham - VOTE for Public Playtesting
Wreck-Gar feels more "absurd" to me - a giant space robot made of garbage that runs on an amalgam of pop culture detritus. Transformers in general are kind of nonsensical, he's that cranked up to 11. Cartoon animals don't feel "wildly unreasonable, illogical, or inappropriate" in the same way. But I'll leave it to the LD to decide if that's factional overlap that's wanted here.

Re: The Book of Spider-Ham - VOTE for Public Playtesting
I'll say that I have no problem with whoever or whatever being in the Brotherhood of Dada. The original Morrison incarnation of the team aren't even super malicious by comic book standards, so even if we're trying to be strictly thematic I think a few good guys ending up in the mix is plausible. Not pushing for it, but I don't think it's bad either.
It's a shame Looney wouldn't work here. |

Re: The Book of Spider-Ham - VOTE for Public Playtesting
A cartoon pig with Spider-Man powers seems like it's one step beyond standard Looney Tunes fair, honestly (and I could almost see Absurd for some of them).
