I've taken to molding my own, and it is really easy - depending on how many you need.

1. Get unused peanut and make impression in Plastersine (can be found at most dollar stores).

2. remove Peanut and fill void with 5 minute epoxy (also can be found at most dollar stores)

3. Wait for epoxy to harden and remove. you will likely have destroyed your mold and might have some residue on your base, but it should come off with dishsoap (you can get dishsoap at the dollar store too)

4. Sand your new base if necessary, and paint/Sticker

You can usually make a 3-4 bases per dollar of epoxy so this is a really cheap/quick why to get bases. The bases are not always "perfect" but with paint it is hardly noticeable.

Tom from @impactminiatures used to monitor this site. Let's see if he'll respond to this ping.

I have purchased from Yodujunkie multiple times. The only issue I've ever had was slow delivery, but the last few times he has been very quick to deliver.

I have been promised I'll have more 30mm bases in stock by March 15th. So a 5 week out of stock and then I'll have another 20,000 of them in stock. Sorry for the delay. I ordered the restock on November 9th. Have always received them in 3 weeks or less ... so it taking over 4 months to get to me was a major surprise. I held on as long as I could ..... but I'm down to my last 100 so I need to avoid for a short period on anything in the store that uses a great deal of them.

Thanks, chap! A bit irritating, but I'm sure not as much for me as it is for you! Expect an order shortly after they're back in.

Thanks, I may use that tip!

Re: Bases for Custom Figures

I have been using wood circle bases that come in a pack from Hobby Lobby lately for all my frostgrave monsters. These would not fit into ladders as well but otherwise are 30mm or so. Its a couple bucks for a ton of them. I use all the sizes in various crafts anyways. I really do like the impact bases too though. I've bought so many of those.

Check out my ebay where you can find my custom dice trays and dicetowers:

I've actually had a little luck with sanding them down a bit to get them to fit. Also if you can find the flat round circles (and not the one with the rounded off edges) they tend to be thinner and fit the ladders perfectly. I did this for a long time. Black Spray paint and your are good.

Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.
