Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Mole Man)
I had him on a random draw in a 4 player game. He was my last figure and I retreated to this out of the way shadow space. Everyone else had no range and came after me where I went on an incredible d20 streak with hot attacks as well and won the match. An extremely rare event for me.

Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Moloid)
Never played these guys, so I don't have anything to say game-wise about them.
They're not-Gollum. They can pair with Doom, but I tend not to think of Latverians as Moloids. One thing that's interesting about Marvel is how it weaves in all these other mythos of our world. For example, the home to the Deviants, Lemuria, I believe is based on this extremely interesting read here: Has to do with advanced underground civilizations. Worth the read! |

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Moloid)
Our first reeval ... stick him in a pod and all you have to do is hit your D20 rolls.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Puppet Master)
Have yet to play with or against Puppet Master, but I think I remember seeing discussion on running him in a pod in an old strategy thread.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Skrull Warriors)
I like both of the Super Skrull designs, but these guys feel like a risky investment. 110 for a two man squad makes me real nervous. A figure with multi attack will make me feel like I wasted my points on these guys. Their stats are great for a squad though.
Both super skrulls + 3x Warriors is 950. Hoping to see/design some more Skrulls in the future. |

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Skrull Warriors)
Yeah, I don't think they're super competitive yet. Solid stats, but big investment for two one life figures.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Skrull Warriors)
Hmm...what other Super Skrulls have minis? I know there's the Thor/Avengers one and the Illuminati one. (Although they're both fairly expensive.) Anybody else?
Like everyone else is saying, these guys are definitely a risk with any sort of multi-attacker around. They're a cool design though, really hoping to see the Skrulls grow as a faction one day. The Kree are currently whooping them. |
