I would like to join up as well. Although I am not a frequent poster I am an avid reader here. PM if you would like some credentials.

Spot on Cornpuff. I have got quite a bit done with Version 1, when a few more volunteers surface I will send out an email and we can strike a plan to go forward. Should be quite easy actually.

I PM'ed Cornpuff & Odysseus with my email addy. Send me an email and I will add you to the contacts list and we can start with some preliminary discussion.

I'd love to be in as well. Lots of downtime at work, and this my type of thing.

Miniature Geek is surprisingly tart
I was part of it, but I my feelings didn't match up with those of others. Don't take this in a bad way. I thought they were doing a great job, it just wasn't what I was envisioning when I signed on, so instead of mucking up the works I left them to the task.

Bixby as I said over that the boards, best wishes to you and the gang. I can't wait to see what you all bring together.

Sorry I cannot recall the specifics or what it was you were envisioning. What were your thoughts on the project?

To me the project wasn't really making the game more advanced, it seemed (at the time, remember I've been away for a while) that it was more of a Heroscape 1.5, mostly just a collection of houserules that people had come up with, nothing really new. While I was thinking, making major rule changes, even adding elements to the game that weren't already there.

Actually, the HEX rules discussion was adding a lot of optional advanced rules. A number of rules have been identified for the game that create depth and added strategy.

Perhaps you would like to view our work in process documents. PM me with your email addy and I can send you the docs. Then you can formulate your opinions

Regards,
Matt

Like I said I've been gone for a while...

I wasn't wanting to belittle the project.

No offense taken. I was more interested to see if the project was in tune with what you originally envisioned.

It does seem to be more like what I originally thought it would be.
